One of the great masterpieces of Italian Renaissance literature, Orlando Furioso is an epic chivalric romance amalgamating themes of classic epic, medieval romance, and fantasy. Featuring a wide array of characters from a variety of cultures and mythologies, the narrative follows a whole host of knights, including the hero, Olando, who goes insane when he discovers that his beloved Angelica has fallen in love with another knight.
