Numer 572 of 750 numbered copies. In his Preface the editor claims that "heretofore no attempt has been made on a similar scale to provide in a single work information about fishing in all parts of the world." As well as the editor himself, contributors to the volume are Theodore Gordon, E.T.D. Chambers, Nigel Bourke, R.B. Marston, H.S. Thomas, C.E. Lucas, and F.G. Aflalo.
